Love Yourself for a Better World

I met Stic at A3C as he was a panelist on the Social Justice Panel. I actually saw him at A3C last year, but I was not able to meet him. Stic has a great energy and you can see and feel it when he walks into the room. During the panel, he talked about taking care of yourself and loving yourself first as a personal investment. This was right up my alley. I know you have heard or seen me discuss this before, but it is true and I will keep saying it until more people understand. I have clients that tell me all of the time how much they love this person or that person, but when I ask them about the person in the mirror, they pause. Love for yourself radiates from the inside out. This is why Stic has such a strong presence. The love he has for himself, his family and his life is evident just by looking at him. This is what I want for everyone!! I want you to be able to look at the person in the mirror and tell them how much you love them daily. Then I want you to put that investment in the people that you love. Have you ever noticed that when you love someone or something you take great care of it? This is what I want you to do for you. Take very special, extra care of yourself. Believe it or not, taking care of yourself is not only an investment in yourself, but an investment in your family and your community. It is like a trickledown effect. You take care of yourself and, in turn, you will begin to take better care of others and they will in turn do the same for themselves and others. So, thank you Stic for being the embodiment of what investing in yourself looks like!!
